Natura Hair Removal & Skin Care was born in 2010 in Pacific Beach, San Diego, from one Brazilian esthetician’s dream: to offer the natural, personal and affordable beauty care she grew up with. Sixteen years later, we are 12 studios in California and Florida, with the same warm welcome in every one.

Meet the Founder
Rafaela Chagas, the Heart of Natura
Ask anyone, employee or client, and they’ll tell you the heart of Natura is Rafaela. She moved from Brazil to the United States in 2004 and saw a real need for the quality, affordable and natural beauty services she knew back home.
She earned her Esthetician License and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Entrepreneurship, both at the same time, and in 2010 opened the original Natura in Pacific Beach. As Natura grew, she opened more studios across San Diego, created the Sugaring Melt® formula and the 3-step Brazilian method, and brought Natura to South Florida.
Today Rafaela leads the brand as Founder and CEO, trains our teams in the Natura way and personally approves every new franchise partner.
Business Degree
Bachelor’s in Business Administration with an emphasis in Entrepreneurship, earned while studying for her license.
Creator of Sugaring Melt®
Developed our all-natural formula and the 3-step Brazilian method every Natura studio uses.
